In order to manage the large population of India and to monitor, centralize and keep its statistics up to date, the Government of India set up UIDAI. Under UDAI, thousands of Aadhar Enrollment centers were set up 10 years back to enroll the residents of India for Aadhar cards. Aadhar Card is an all-in-one comprehensive document that contains all the information of the people. It comprises of 12 digits unique number. This is a unique number. This will remain the same for your entire life. In fact, it is your identity in India for any sort of work or legal process. What is Aadhar card verification?

Aadhar verification is the process done to verify the originality and authenticity of your Aadhaar card. The process is very simple and can be done online via the official web portal of UIDAI. Anyone willing to check its Aadhar card can do so by entering the required details. Steps to verify Aadhar card at UIDAI

Step 1 – Visit the official web portal of UIDAI.
Step 2 – Now on the page, click Verify Aadhar Number from the section Aadhaar Services.

How To Get Aadhar Card Without Documents? – Aadhar Enrollment Process

The government of each country monitors its citizens. To layout a platform to do the monitoring, it establishes an organization to carry out this task. it is not an easy task to control a large population. It is not a simple task to do this from one office or location. To deal with this problem of registration or enrollment, the government opens centers in various locations all over the country. These centers provide numerous tasks such as registration, updating, and issuance of resident certificates. These registration centers are also called the Enrollment Center.

In India, the registration power has been granted to a government-owned called Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). UIDAI is responsible to controls the registry through the network of Aadhar enrollment centers.

Like any other enrollment agency, the main objective of the Aadhar Enrollment Center is to get new applicants enrolled for Aadhar. Steps to Apply for Aadhaar Card without Documents

Though you need supporting documents for Aadhaar enrollment, still there are circumstances where you do not have any. In this case, you hold up for the enrollment process. However, you want to get an Aadhar card. In this case, UIDAI has also given you an option to apply for the Aadhar card.  In this case, you can take the support of an introducer. The introducer is the person licensed by UIDAI to attest Aadhaar card without supporting documents. You can do the process by following the steps mentioned below:

1. Go to your nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.
2. Ask for the Aadhaar Enrolment/Correction Form. Fill out the form by entering all details correctly.
3. Now it is your duty to get this enrollment form attested or authenticated by an introducer. Make sure the introducer has been identified and notified properly. It means that it is identified and notified by the Registrar or Aadhaar regional offices.
4. Now submit this authenticated form into the Aadhaar enrollment center staff or executive
5. Move on to give your biometric details. These include iris scan, fingerprints, and photographs
6. You will be issued an EID (Enrollment ID) slip that contains the enrolment number. You can use this number to track the status of your application from the UIDAI web portal.
7. You will get the original Aadhar card at your registered address within 90 days of the application of enrollment. Most people get the Aadhar card within 45 to 60 days. It all depends upon the workload in the Aadhar center. As UIDAI has opened a lot of enrollment centers, the chances of rush and workload have reduced tremendously. So, there is a very rare chance of getting your Aadhar card, not on time.

How To Fill Up Aadhar Enrollment & Aadhar Correction Form?

Aadhar is one of the most important documents in India. Its uses cannot be underrated. Though, this is not mandatory as a clear verdict has been given by the Supreme Court of India. But you must need Aadhar at the time of opening a bank account, claiming an LPG subsidy, and receiving a pension amount. The details in your Aadhar must be correct otherwise you will face trouble in your life. Though at the time of application, the applicant is given the chance to review the data entry, there still exist issues of incorrect information. So, the correction of information is necessary to avoid any future problems. If you do not correct your details, the service provider or agency will not be able to verify you.

Aadhar Enrollment Form

The first step in obtaining an Aadhar card is to fill the enrollment form. There are two methods of doing so. Either you visit any Aadhar center and ask for the form. On the other hand, you can fill out the form online at the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) web portal.

There are 11 form fields on the enrollment form. Some are relevant and compulsory while some fields are optional. You can leave the fields that are not related to you. We will discuss each field in detail below:

  1. Full name: enter your complete name as it is on your other documents. We suggest that you write your name in capital or uppercase letters so that the data entry officer at the Aadhar center could read your form easily.
  2. Address – enter your residential address. Make sure you enter the permanent address so that your Acard can be received safely.

  4. Time & enrollment date
  5. Gender
  6. Age
  7. TIN – taxpayer identification number
  8. Guardian/ father/ mother details
  9. Signature/ thumb impression of the applicant
  10. Details of the documents you submitted to support your application
  11. Information or details of the introducer

How to fill up an Aadhar enrollment form

Step 1: Visit the portal of UIDAI (www.uidai.gov.in). Step 2: From there, download the Aadhaar Enrollment Form.

Step 3: Now open this file & fill out the mandatory field exactly as written on your supportive documents.

Step 3: Please note that if the application is for an infant, then either mother or father has to attach his or her Aadhaar ‘s particular. In law, infants mean an applicant below the age of 5.

Step 4: If you are entering the mobile number, then it will be linked automatically with your Aadhar.

Step 5: Make sure you have entered all the information. Now click the submit option.

Please note that in case you entered any incorrect detail, it is time to quickly act as you have 96 hours to amend any detail free of cost. Otherwise, you have to pay certain fees to the Government.

Download Eaadhar Using VID Number & Know Eaadhar PDF Password

Whether you are male or female, you can apply to get an Aadhar. The only basic requirement to apply is that you must be a resident of India. If you are residing in India for 182 days or more in a year, then you are counted as a resident in that particular year.

While you apply for Aadhar, you will be asked to fill out Aadhar enrollment application that will require you to enter your name, dob, address, mobile number, sex, and age, etc. Apart from this, you will be asked to give your biometric details such as all fingerprints and eye scans at Aadhar Kendra center.

Eaadhar is a soft copy of your Aadhar card. This is downloaded from the UIDAI official web portal. It is also called digital Aadhar and has equal value to that of the original Aadhar card.

VID is a virtual id and consists of 16 digit numbers randomly generated by the system. It is mapped with the applicant’s Aadhar number at the back of the card. VID is an all in one data saver of demographic and biometric details of residents. VID is used in place of Aadhar number UID where the applicant does not want to disclose his or her UID. There is no option that enables you to derive UID from VID. That is why people give VID very high importance because they can protect their privacy with this VID number. As there are lots of security threats in using online services, people are using VID to download Eaadhar from the UIDAI website.

1. Open UIDAU official web portal.
2. In Input your personal section, you have to click the VID link there.
3. Enter the details as required on the web page.
4. You will get the OTP (One Time Password) on your mobile number registered with UIDAI.
5. Now enter this OTP on the screen, validate and download the Eaadhar.

Eaadhar downloaded from the UIDAI website as described in the previous step is a PDF file. When you open this with any PDF file reader such as Adobe acrobat reader or Foxit reader, it will ask for a password. Without a password, you cannot open this file. This is not a difficult task to know the Eaadhar file password. Just take the first four letters of your name in uppercase and add your birth year. This would be your password to open the Eaadhar card.

For Example: If your name is Manoj Kumar and your date of birth is 1985. Then, your password of the Eaadhar file is MANO1985. Similarly, if your name is J. Malhotra and your date of birth is 26-08-1987. Then Eaadhar PDF file password is J.MA1987. Remember to use uppercase/ capital letters while entering the password.

Aadhar is a random system generated unique number issued to residents of India through the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). The electronic format of Aadhar is called Eaadhar. You can download the electronic version of Eaadhar by using the procedure mentioned below:

  1. Open UIDAI official portal. This is a self-service website from the Unique Identification Authority of India.
  2. When you apply for Aadhar enrollment, you will get Aadhar Enrollment Slip. This slip is very important, you will find EID (Enrollment ID on this slip.
  3. On the web portal, choose the EID option.
  4. In the first form field, enter the EID exactly as printed on the enrollment slip.
  5. In the next field, input your name as written on the enrollment page.
  6. Now you have to input 6 digit area PINCODE.
  7. To avoid robot attacks on the UIDAI website, enter the captcha code in the form field and click on the get OTP button.
  8. Now, you should receive the OTP on your mobile number. Now, enter the OTP on the UIDAI portal.
  9. Now click the validate and download the Eaadhar PDF Acrobat file.

Congratulations! you have successfully downloaded from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) portal your electronic version of Aadhar. However, in order to open this file, you need a password. You cannot open this file until you input the password to unlock the file.

The password to Open Electronic Version of Aadhar

In order to view the content of the Eaadhar Pdf file, you have to enter 8 digit code. It is a combination of your details that combines your birth year and name.

The secret password to this Eaadhaar PDF document is 8 characters with some Combination.

To find out your password of the Pdf file, take four letters of your name in the capital and the Year of your birth. Make sure you write these things as given at the time of enrollment.

The other method to download Eaadhar is to use UID. The procedure is exactly the same as described above. But in the first step, you have to choose UID instead of EID (Enrollment ID). UID is a unique identifier. The Eaadhar file that you will download will also be a password-protected one. You have to open this file by making your own password. The password will be a mix of your name and birth year as described above.

Get Eaadhar On Mobile – Find Lost EID/UID

No one can deny the importance of Aadhar in his or her life. You cannot continue your education and even cannot get a job without Aadhar. It has become a necessity and is one of the most important KYC (Know Your Customer) documents. Aadhar is a 12 digit number. It is a unique number which means that the number you have will not be issued to the other person. In other words, it is ur identity in the Government database. The increasing importance of Aadhar can be judged from the fact that now you have to link your driving license, PAN Card, Ration Card, and even voter id card with your Aadhar.

Download Eaadhar Using Name

One may not download Eaadhaar without the EID. However, if you have lost your (Enrollment ID) EID, then you need to follow the steps as follows:

  1. Open (Unique Identification Authority of India) UIDAI portal to get your EID via this link https://uidai.gov.in/my-aadhaar/get-aadhaar.html
  2. Now choose either EID or UID.
  3. Under the Personal Detail portion, you have to input the complete name that you provided at the time of the Aadhar enrollment process.
  4. Enter your mobile phone number and email address in the text form. Make sure to enter the same data here that you provided during the Aadhaar enrollment.
  5. Enter Captcha or security code in the form filed. Enter exactly the same characters as visible in the image.
  6. Now press the Send OTP button. Now check your mobile. You should have received the OTP (One Time Password) on your mobile.
  7. Just enter the exact OTP on the UIDAI page and click the Verify the OTP button.

Now you will have your EID on your mobile. This is the key number in downloading Eaadhar Card by name. Follow the steps below to get Eaadar:

  1. Open the website of Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI) available at  https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
  2. You will find the personal detail area on the page. Here, you have to enter your (Aadhar Enrollment ID. You just received your EID from the step described above on your mobile number. EID is a long code and consists of a 14 digits unique number.
  3. Just enter your complete name in the text field. Make sure you enter the correct spelling.
  4. Now move on and enter your six-digit area pin.
  5. Now you have to enter the security code as visible in the image.
  6. Now push the OTP (One Time Password) button.
  7. You will receive OTP on your registered cell number as an SMS message. If your mobile number is not functioning, then you cannot perform the downloading & validation procedures.
  8. If the Unique Identification Authority of India authorizes your data, then you will easily download the electronic version of the Aadhar Card. This is called Eaadhaar. You can save this to your computer as an acrobat reader file. Use Foxit Reader or Acrobat Reader for this purpose.
  9. In order to open this Pdf file, you have to enter the password. Password is the combination of the first 4 letters of your full name and birth year. The First 4 letters of your name need to be entered in Capital letters.

When you apply for an Aadhar card, you are issued an Enrollment ID (EID) slip that contains information such as EID, your name, address, mobile number, and email address, etc. The EID mentioned on the slip is very important. You cannot download an Eaadhaar card without the EID. But if you do not know your EID, then you have to follow the indirect approach as follows:

1. Open UIDAI official web portal this link to get your EID https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
2. Now select EID / UID, as you want to know EID, choose this option.
3. Under the Personal Detail section, enter the full name that you gave at the time of Aadhar enrollment.
4. Enter mobile number and email address in the text form fields. You must enter the same data here that you gave at the time of Aadhaar enrollment.
5. Enter security code in the form filed exactly the same as shown in the image.
6. Now click Send OTP button. You will receive the OTP (One Time Password) on your mobile number.
7. Now, input the OTP on the same page and click the Verify OTP button.

Now you will receive your EID on your mobile number. This will help us in downloading Eaadhar Card by name.

Download Eaadhar Card By Enrollment Number (EID)

In order to become an official resident of India, you must have to apply for an Aadhar card. It is your identity across India and is a 12 digit unique number. Any Indian resident can apply to get it without paying any fee by submitting the required document. Once you apply for Aadhar at any Aadhar Centre, you have to wait 90 days before the card reaches you. Of course, this is not a good idea to wait such a long period as there are multiple needs of this document at every stage of your life. If you can get it electronically well before your original hard copy document, then this is a real advantage. In order to help you get to know your password, we will elaborate this as follows:

  1. If your name is RAHUL SINGH and your birth year is 1986. Then, your password will be RAHU1986.
  2. If your name is DIN CHAWLA and your birth year is 1989. Then, your password is DIN1989.
  3. If your name is P.KUMAR and your birth year is 1996, then your password of the pdf file is P.KUM1996.
  4. If your name is MON and your birth year is 2012, then the password is MON2012.
