Every person is tracked in India using a unique number called Aadhaar. It is a combination of 12 digits. All digits are number-based and include numbers from 1 to 9 including zero. The process to obtain an Aadhaar card is very simple. Just visit any nearby Aadhaarkendra to get enrolled. Passport, pan, or voter care are necessary documents to be attached with your Aadhaar application if you want your Aadhaar application to be accepted without any issues. The normal time to get an Aadhaar card is 60 to 90 days from the date of enrollment application with the UIDAI. The government wants to enroll as many people as possible to make its population database accurate. At the time of the aadhar application, officers in the aadhar enrollment center will get your demographic and biometric information.
As the situation is quite worst due to corona, people are finding it difficult to pay hospitals through proper banking channels. Proper banking channel often leads to delay in obtaining the services. Hospitals can only provide medical treatment to the patients only if they receive money. Keeping in view the difficulties faced by the patients, the Government has decided to relax the payment conditions set out by law. Now, hospitals can accept cash payment up to 200,000/- from the patient or from his or her attendants. But as per the Government’s instruction, the hospital must have to ask Aadhaar for the Permanent account number (PAN) of the patient or the attendant. Attendant relation with the patient is also to be recorded if the Aadhaar details of that person are taken. This is a great relief from the Government but experts believe that this will disturb people from helping others as no one will want to share his or her Aadhaar or PAN. According to them, such relief should be without any condition from the Government. Income Tax Act clearly prohibits ₹2 lakh or above in a day from a person in a cash transaction. So, this relief will definitely go to help the needy person at the right time.
