How To Complaint Against Extra Payment At Aadhaar Center

The government of India uses a 12 digit number called Aadhaar to track its population. 12 digits are made up of digits from 1 to 9 including zero. But the first digit cannot be a zero. Aadhaar card importance has increased tremendously due to the Covid-19 pandemic prevailing in the country. The rate of corona spread is very high in India as compared to the rest of the world. Hospitals are using Aadhaar as a controlling tool for the vaccination of the people. UIDAI is the organization that fully controls the operating process of the enrollment process and any update therein. It has been around 10 years since UIDAI came into existence, but over 90% of the residents of India have been enrolled in the database.

If you are an Indian who lives overseas, then you have to count the total number of days in a year in which you were in India. If it is less than 182 days, then you are not a resident of India. You will fall in the definition of non-resident Indian and as such you are not eligible to apply for an Aadhaar card. Once you apply for the Aadhaar at any Aadhaar center, you should expect to receive your card within 90 days maximum time via the Indian postal service. Usually, people get the card within 2 months. However, if you are in severe need of the Aadhaar, you can download Eaadhaar from the UIDAI’s official web portal.

First-time enrollment is absolutely free for Aadhaar. However, charges for any update in Aadhaar varies from case to case. Changes are not free. If you want any change in demographic detail, then you have to pay ₹50. On the other hand, any change in biometrics will levy ₹100. These two amounts are fixed and cannot be increased by any amount. However, there is news that staff at some aadhar centers are asking higher amounts from Aadhaar holders. Keeping in view these issues in mind, UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has decided to launch a complaint management system to curb the corruption in charging the fees. Initially, there was no system in place to inform UIDAI. Now, the Authority has issued three different methods to make a complaint against mal-practices happening in the Aadhaarkendra. These are toll-free numbers, email, and online methods.

Toll-Free Number – In order to make a complaint against extra payment demand in the Aadhaar center, you can call on number 1947. This is a free number means you will not be charged in your bill for making this call.

Email – You can lodge a complaint via email mode as well. For this, UIDAI had specifically reserved an email address [email protected]. Try to send an email from a professional-looking email address so that your message could not be placed in the Junk or Spam folder of UIDAI.

Online mode – If you have access to a computer and the internet and have skills to use the web, you can create a complaint at the UIDAI compliant web portal located at resident.uidai.gov.in/file-complaint.

Government Allows Hospitals To Accept Cash Payment Of ₹2 Lakh Or Above

Corona is getting out of control in our country. Though all parts of the world are suffering from pandemic attacks, the rate of spread is very high in India. The government and the people are at the mercy of hospitals and doctors. Hospital beds, vaccines, ventilators & oxygen cylinders are in severe deficiency. Pandemic researchers & experts believe that only social distancing is the only viable solution to curb the spread of the covid-19 virus. On a daily basis, mutations & variants are coming that are badly affecting human beings. Under these circumstances, the prescription of the right medicine has become very difficult & challenging. In this scenario, the role of Aadhaar cannot be ignored.

Every person is tracked in India using a unique number called Aadhaar. It is a combination of 12 digits. All digits are number-based and include numbers from 1 to 9 including zero. Due to deadly pandemics, Aadhaar is being used as an important tool. UIDAI was established in 2009 to smoothly and control the whole process of Aadhaar enrollment. An Aadhaar card is issued only to those people of India, who are inside the country for a minimum of 182 days in a year. To run and operate the enrollment process legally, Aadhaar Act is also in place. It is a complete guide.

The process to obtain an Aadhaar card is very simple. Just visit any nearby Aadhaarkendra to get enrolled. Passport, pan, or voter care are necessary documents to be attached with your Aadhaar application if you want your Aadhaar application to be accepted without any issues. The normal time to get an Aadhaar card is 60 to 90 days from the date of enrollment application with the UIDAI. The government wants to enroll as many people as possible to make its population database accurate. At the time of the aadhar application, officers in the aadhar enrollment center will get your demographic and biometric information.

As the situation is quite worst due to corona, people are finding it difficult to pay hospitals through proper banking channels. Proper banking channel often leads to delay in obtaining the services. Hospitals can only provide medical treatment to the patients only if they receive money. Keeping in view the difficulties faced by the patients, the Government has decided to relax the payment conditions set out by law. Now, hospitals can accept cash payment up to 200,000/- from the patient or from his or her attendants. But as per the Government’s instruction, the hospital must have to ask Aadhaar for the Permanent account number (PAN) of the patient or the attendant. Attendant relation with the patient is also to be recorded if the Aadhaar details of that person are taken. This is a great relief from the Government but experts believe that this will disturb people from helping others as no one will want to share his or her Aadhaar or PAN. According to them, such relief should be without any condition from the Government. Income Tax Act clearly prohibits ₹2 lakh or above in a day from a person in a cash transaction. So, this relief will definitely go to help the needy person at the right time.

Uttar Pradesh Covid-19 Vaccine Only For Up Residents

Corona is badly affecting our country. The situation in the rest of the world is not different but India is dangerously affected. In this situation, Government and the people are at the mercy of hospitals and doctors. There is a severe deficiency of Hospital beds, ventilators, vaccines & oxygen cylinders. Pandemic experts believe only lockdown or curfew is the only viable solution to reduce the spread of the covid-19 virus. Variants and mutations of the corona are coming every day. This has become extremely difficult to prescribe the right medicine for these newcomers. In most parts of the country, lockdown is in progress and people are instructed to stay at home to stay safe. Travelling is also prohibited to discourage the one-on-one meeting of the people.

In order to curb this pandemic, UP state has started vaccinating people within the age bracket of 18 – 44 from today. But as we have discussed in our previous posts, these are only for UP residents. Any outsiders are not entitled to get the vaccination. The reason behind such discrimination is that these vaccines have been purchased from the UP government and as such only residents of Uttar Pradesh are entitled to get the job. The daily target is to give vaccination to a modest number of 6,000 residents. This includes residents of Ghaziabad & Noida. The residency of people will be checked from documents such as Aadhaar, pan, voter card, ration card, or driving license as these are valid documents for address verification.

Every person is tracked through a unique number in India. This number is called Aadhaar. It is a combination of 12 digits. All digits are numerically ranging from 1 to 9 including zero. Due to the deadly corona pandemic in India, Aadhaar is being used as a tracking tool. UIDAI was established in 2009 to smoothly and control the whole process of Aadhaar enrollment. Within just 11 years, a large portion of the country has been registered in the UIDAI database. An Aadhaar card is issued only to those people of India, who are inside the country for a minimum of 182 days in a year.

To run and operate the enrollment process legally, Aadhaar Act is also in process. It is a complete guide. The process to obtain an Aadhaar card is very simple. Just visit any nearby Aadhaarkendra to get enrolled. Documents such as passport, pan, or voter care are necessary documents if you want your Aadhaar application to be accepted without any issues. The normal time to get an Aadhaar card is 60 to 90 days from the date of enrollment application with the UIDAI. The enrollment fee is zero as the Government wants to enroll as many people as possible to make its population statistics up to date. At the time of the aadhar application, an officer in the aadhar Kendra will take your details such as demographic and biometric.

Doctor’s Certificate And Aadhaar Mandatory For Emergency Travel During Lockdown

Corona is devastating India and the rest of the world and the situation is getting worst day by day. The government and the people are helpless. There is a situation of emergency in the country. Hospital beds, ventilators, vaccines & oxygen cylinders are severely short. In the current scenario, only lockdown or curfew is the best solution to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.

Every day, new variants and mutations of the virus are hitting the population. So, this is not possible to find out the right medicine for new variants and mutations. As a result, the spread is growing exponentially. In most parts of the country, lockdown is in progress and people are directed to stay at home to stay safe. Traveling is also prohibited to discourage the physical meeting of the people. However, the Government does understand the problems of people who need to travel due to an emergency. In this case, people can apply for an ePass using the online web portal. You are required to submit supporting documents along with your application.

People are complaining about the rejection of their applications concerning ePass due to inadequate documents. The reason behind this is that you failed to submit a passport size photo, vehicle’s RC book, Aadhaar card, driving license, and doctor’s certificate. You can judge the importance of the Aadhaar card from the above lines. You must have an Aadhaar card otherwise you cannot apply for an ePass.

Aadhar is a 12-digit document. It is a unique number. It is used as an identifier. It is proof of your identity & address across Baharat. UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is the body that is responsible to issue Aadhar. It regulates the entire process of enrollment. To do the enrollment of people, thousands of Aadhaar centers have been set up in various parts of the country.

We have seen in the last decade that a large population of the country has been brought into the UIDAI system. Any person who is residing in India for more than 182 days or more can obtain an Aadhar card. Non-Resident Indians are not entitled to obtain an Aadhaar card. The reason is that they do not live inside the country for at least 182 days. Being an India, you can obtain Aadhar by visiting any Aadhar enrollment center. Necessary documents such as PAN, Passport and ration card, etc. are required in order to be accepted without any delay or issues. It will take around 90 days to get an Aadhaar card from the date of application to your registered address. There is no fee payable at the enrollment stage.

The government of India wants to enroll all the residents of India. That is why there are no fees. Under the current Covid-19 scenario, the need for Aadhaar is very important. There are two important pieces of information that are saved during the Aadhaar enrollment process. One is demographic details while the other is biometric details.

Aadhaar Mandatory To Receive Social Security Code Benefit

In India, every person is issued a unique identity which is called Aadhaar and contains 12 digit numeric fields. It is a single point of interaction across numerous sectors in the country. As the population of the country is very huge, Government established UIDAI to perform all the tasks and duties necessary to make this happen. The enrollment process to get the Aadhaar is done via hundreds of Aadhaar centers set up in numerous areas of the country. Within a decade, a huge population of the country has been enrolled in the UIDAI system. Any person who is living in India for more than 182 days or more can obtain Aadhar. The process to obtain Aadhaar card is very straightforward. You just have to visit any nearby Aadhaar kendra to get enrolled. If you want to save time, download the form from UIDAI’s official web portal. Please keep in mind that the applicant can apply for the Aadhar by submitting the required documents. Once your application is received, you will get an Aadhaar card within 90 days from the date of application. Please keep in mind that the enrollment process is 100% free from the Government.

The purpose of this is to bring as many people to the UIDAI database as possible. There are two important pieces of information that are saved during the Aadhaar enrollment process. One is demographic details while the other is biometric details. A large portion of the country earns income by doing jobs in various public and private sectors. As Government’s objective is to provide social benefits to these workers as much as they can, it is the dire need to have a correct database of the workers.

The importance of Aadhaar cannot be ruled out in this current scenario. It is demanded at every place. Whether you are going to the hospital or going to claim an employee’s benefit such as social security, Aadhaar is the must-have document to identify your authenticity and eligibility. In order to keep things in proper shape, the Labor Ministry has clearly issued a new policy that now the workers seeking social benefits have to share their Aadhaar details with the ministry of labor and employment. The labor secretary clarified that though the rule legally authorizes the ministry to collect Aadhaar details from workers under Social Security Code 2020. But this does not mean any worker will be denied access to benefit just because of Aadhaar absence.

The relaxation is effective up to such time when this new rule is notified officially. Once the Social Security Code 2020 gets implemented, social security benefits of works will be linked with their respective Aadhaar number. Please keep in mind that this will cover not only benefits receivable from the ministry of labor& employment (e.g. insurance & retirement rewards) but also other welfare schemes such as education including scholarships & housing that fall under the jurisdiction of other ministries. According to the Government, the reason behind such linking is to facilitate database creation. The main focus is on informal sector workers. These include a large portion of immigrants that face severe problems in receiving the social benefits.

Aadhaar Mandatory For ePass Exemption To Travel Within Up During Lockdown

In India, every person is identified via a unique identity. This is called Aadhaar and contains 12 digit numeric fields. The management of a large population of the country was a difficult time. As a result, Government established UIDAI in 2009 to run, control, and monitor the whole process of Aadhaar enrollment. The enrollment process of people of India is done via the Aadhaar center set up in different parts of the country even in villages. In a very short span of time, we have seen the large population of the country get themselves registered with the UIDAI. Aadhaar card is issued only to those people of India, who are inside the country for at least six months a year.

The Aadhaar Act which is the backbone of the enrollment process clearly prohibits NRI (Non-Resident Indian) to obtain Aadhaar. The reason is that they do not live inside the country for at least 6 months. You can get your Aadhaar card simply by paying a visit to your nearest Aadhar enrollment center. If you want to apply for the Aadhaar card, you must carry the necessary documents that can verify your address and other details.

The normal time to get an Aadhaar card is 90 days from the date of enrollment with the UIDAI. There are no fees involved in the enrollment process. All are free from the Government. Even they do not charge for the printing and postage services. You can get registered with the UIDAI without paying any dime. There are two important pieces of information that are saved during the Aadhaar enrollment process. One is demographic details while the other is biometric details.

The health situation in India is getting worst day by day due to the corona pandemic. The hospitals are already fully equipped and there is a huge shortage of oxygen cylinders in the country. The only viable solution to control this pandemic is to exercise social distancing and wearing a mask.

As the pandemic is hitting people at an exponential rate, various states and cities are being locked down. This is to make sure people remain in their homes and social interaction can be eliminated altogether. As corona spreads from one person to others, the minimal interaction, the minimum spread will occur.

In the largest state of India UP (Uttar Pradesh), lockdown is in process and it has been further extended up to Thursday 7 am. There is a strict curfew in the state. No one is allowed to travel in the state except they hold an e-pass. However, there are certain exemptions to this restriction. UP Government has released a list of people who are allowed to move or travel in the state without getting an ePass. Following is a list of people who do not need an ePass to travel in the state:

• eCommerce operators
• Industrial activities
• Medical and essential services including vehicles
Post office staff
• Medical emergency staff
• Electronic services
• Internet services

Other people whose cases are original can apply to get ePass by visiting the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Department’s official portal. People have to submit an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or GST papers as the case may be to get the e-pass in the UP state.

Supreme Court Demands Uniform National Policy From The Center On Covid-19

In India, every person is issued a unique identity which is called Aadhaar and comprises 12 digit numeric fields. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, its significance has increased a lot. As the population of our country is very big, Government established UIDAI to manage and perform all the tasks and duties necessary to make this happen. The enrollment and updating process of Aadhaar is simple and requires little effort from your side. This can be completed through aadhaarKendra or centers located in various parts of the country. Within a decade, a large population of the country has been enrolled in the UIDAI database. In order to qualify as an Aadhaar applicant, one has to be in India for minimum of 182 days in a year.

Aadhaar Act clearly disqualifies NRI (Non-Resident Indian) to obtain an Aadhaar card as they do not live inside the country for at least 182 days. The health situation is very bad all over India due to corona. Every day, people are getting affected by the pandemic and the death rate is increasing day by day. The government and the people have no clue on how to tackle the situation and control the spread of the Covid-19. There is a shortage of beds, injections,s, and vaccines in the hospital. Oxygen is not available to meet the needs of the hospitals. As a result, people are dying just because of the Oxygen cylinder shortage.

The shortage of resources in the hospitals is resulting in the rejection of admissions in the hospital based on the Aadhaar card address. There are reports that hospitals are only giving admissions to the local population. They see the address on the Aadhaar and if it is outside the city or state, patients are rejected for admission on the basis that the local population has the priority over the hospital services than any other outsider. Keeping in view the devastating and Aadhaar address issue, Supreme Court has asked the Center Government to make it clear by issuing a policy for admission in hospitals. SC board headed by Justice D Y Chandrachud clearly asked the Center to make a uniform policy for patient’s admission in the hospital in a Suo Motu case concerning corona. The story behind this Suo Motu case is that a person was denied admission in the Noida hospital just because such a person has the residential address of Mumbai on the Aadhaar card.
